RMC.

This is coolbert:

Women to the front! British style.

Again from the British "Forces" TV channel:

"Female Commandos: Women In The Royal Marines"

"How To Become The First Female Royal Marines Commando"

"The Royal Marines Commandos [RMC] are one of the world's elite amphibious forces, and now women can rank amongst them."

"Following the MoD's decision to allow women into combat roles, the Royal Marines have already set out what they expect from women considering taking on one of the most arduous military basic training regimes in the world."

Royal Marine Commando training as described "arduous". Very tough and hard to pass.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an already established level of physical fitness before entry into the program.

"Combat roles" meaning combat arms as understood by the American military? Infantry, artillery, armor, air defense, combat aviation [rotary wing]. Women embedded with the RMC in a combat support or combat service support role I can understand. Combat arms harder to fathom.

Can it be done? The jury is out!
