Multi-Domain.

This is coolbert:

A war understood properly with regard to 1. Reasons for the war. 2. The actual fighting of the war, the mortal combat. 3. The aftermath of the war.

From an article by Dr. Gary K. Busch, for Lima Charlie News.

"Military Technology and the Multi-Domain Battle Plan"

"That will be the greatest challenge to the development of U.S. military interventions. Can we afford to win and who will do the necessary chores when we do?"

In the proverbial nutshell fighting the war, winning and then the aftermath as to what occurs. With emphasis here obviously in context of the current Middle Eastern situation but even as was prior to that the case in Vietnam. Chores as described to include but obviously not solely limited to:

   * "Support for weak, corrupt and unrepresentative governments"
   * "Supporting indigenous armed forces which do not have the support of the citizens"
   * "Building and staffing many bases across a vast and hostile territory"
   * "Delivering cash to an administration which steals most of the money"
   * "Paying for repairs to an infrastructure which is largely irreparable."
   * "Turning over control of many civil and military functions to private contractors"

NOBODY EVER SAID ANY OF THIS WAS GOING TO BE EASY DID THEY!

That American military man such as Mac Arthur acting in the role of a benevolent dictator [a military man entrusted with the power to make political decisions] with hindsight his performance superior.
